Gladys is an extraordinary person. Her work ethic and her integrity truly make her stand out as a person who always goes the extra mile. We have used GSH to manage our home in Virginia Beach since June 1995. We have been satisfied with the property managers but when we were assigned Gladys in June 2004 we quickly noticed that she was the best!

Her attention to detail and personal warmth made us trust her completely. Gladys already had our deep appreciation because of her advice and help in getting new renters. Then a week before our family was going to China for a month to complete our adoption of our daughter Maura, there was a fire in our rental home. The fire damage was extensive. Repainting the inside, new cabinets, and new flooring were required. Gladys took care of EVERYTHING and sent us updates while we were in China for three weeks.
We are overwhelmed by the breadth of her commitment to her clients and her professionalism. As a Navy Captain, I have worked over 22 years with civilian and military officers and Gladys stands out at the top of my experience. We are so grateful that we could focus on enjoying the adventure of bringing our daughter home from China thanks to Gladys. She took care of everything and did it with grace and humility. She went out of her way to meet with contractors and other suppliers regarding the long list of details that needed to be handled. She also was an advocate for us with our insurance company ensuring that we received the coverage we deserved.

We sincerely believe Gladys is one of the most talented and hard working professionals we have ever met. As a result of our experience with her we will go out of our way to recommend Gladys to every naval officer we meet who transfers to Virginia Beach or who needs property management services. We are indebted to Gladys for completely shouldering the burden of getting our home fixed and producing rental income again.

I have been a client of GSH since 1983 and have had several Property Managers with varying levels of service. Ms. Gladys Fain has had my property for a relatively short period of time but has had to deal with significant issues during this period of time. Gladys has performed above my expectations and conducted herself very professionally during this stressful period of time - dealing with difficult vendors, etc. Gladys is exemplary in performing her duties and is a pleasure to work with.
